I can't really describe how awesome I think Emily is - but I thought about her for a while on my trip back to Ithaca. One thing that really resonated with me was how comfortable she was - it's pretty intimidating to be in front of a camera with a complete stranger but she did awesome. The sun was really pretty Sunday and we got a lot of natural flare in the early morning. I was so excited about the passion she had for the things that interested her like her adventures at work and camp-life, her talent at piano... and her love for her sweet dog! Another thing I noticed while we talked was all the pictures her mom had framed of her family over the years. It really inspired my session with Emily because I felt honored that my work could potentially hang on their walls as well. I guess I felt connected from the get-go that we both shared a similar love for photos, family, and memories.
